MI & Governance Manager required for the global finance function of our Glasgow client.

This is a newly created role due to business growth and will contribute to the execution of the firms' global deployment and outsourcing strategy.

The team work closelywith several levels of management to ensure they meet their global outsourcing regulatory requirements and documentation requirements are adhered to.


This role encompasses both BAU and project activities in tackling diverse set of tasks that require key skills such as strong communication, documentation and attention to detail, critical thinking, data analytics, and excellent time management in orderto meet tight regulatory deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a reporting team of two, providing direction and oversight of deliverables.
  • Managing and driving strategic tooling project to automate current manual reporting; partner with Finance Technology team to develop comprehensive, longterm solutions.
  • Managing and provide timely and accurate monthly MI reporting of Finance Outsourcing workstreams, communicating key management messages, highlighting progress, and identifying areas of escalation, in line with agreed reporting SLAs.
  • Helping drive process and control enhancements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of current reporting procedures
  • Understanding global regulatory requirements related to outsourced services; embed new regulations into current process
  • Prepare materials for Global Senior stakeholder audiences on effective supervision requirements to educate them on global jurisdictional expectations
  • Partnering with the wider global team to coordinate successful execution of adhoc internal and regulatory projects.
About you

  • Extensive experience in Reporting whether that be in an Accounting, Finance, Assurance, Risk, Regulatory or Operations capacity
  • Has led/managed a team
  • Project Management
  • Proficient in Excel including pivot tables, formulas and data manipulation, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Confident communicator
