Development Manager - £70,000 - Wrexham - B2B

To do this you must be comfortable investigating and suggesting new technologies, coordinating feasibility studies, building prototypes and understanding the implications of the technology choices on our existing product suite.

As the development manageryou will be responsible for the man-management of the development team, providing direction, monitoring performance and conducting reviews.

You will be a technical lead and mentor for the team and will ultimately be responsibility for the quality and timelydelivery of software that meets the business requirements and goals.


Responsibilities:


  • Accountable to the principal developer for producing high
- quality solutions

  • Manage a team of developers through projects from design to delivery
  • Take responsibility for project delivery and resolve issues that arise in a timely manner to allow the team to meet deadlines
  • Manage development priorities within a project to ensure timely delivery and adequate support cover
  • Investigate and manage implementation of future technologies
  • Coordinate feasibility studies for software and system products under consideration
  • Maintain and share the product vision and direction with the development team
  • Ensure that features are designed and delivered to the highest standards
  • Improve the technical competence of the development team
