Description

Based in Cricklade, own transport is needed
REACH & COUNTERBALANCE LICENSE REQUIRED.

Core Duties

Checking loads are correct and allocated to the correct transport

Wrap and strap consignment if necessary

Maneuvering pallets onto trucks using pallet trucks

Loading completed pallet orders onto the pallet carriers using a counterbalance forklift truck

Loading completed parcel orders onto the parcel carriers van

Carryout daily checks on the pallet trucks

Ensure area is clean and tidy at all times

Adhere to Health & Safety at all times

Ensuring warehouse equipment is maintained in line with safety policies and procedures

Other Duties

Recycle cardboard

Empty all warehouse bins

Keep bays swept and tidy

Keep yard clear - stack pallets/tidy rubbish

Skills:

Good work ethic

Able to work to demand of warehouse

Teamwork attitude

'Hands on approach' - working as a team to achieve end goal

Flexibility - overtime is a possibility

Good organisational skills

Forklift licences are essential

THIS ROLE IS TEMPORARY WITH A VIEW TO GOING PERMANENT

OWN TRANSPORT MAY BE REQUIRED DUE TO LOCATION REQUIRED

EARLY, LATE AND NIGHTS FIXED SHIFT AVAILABLE

EARLY = £11 PER HOUR

LATE = £11.50 PER HOUR

NIGHT = £13.50 PER HOUR
