The post holder will contribute to the delivery of the planning, response and learning cycle of Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response (EPRR).
Specifically, they will work alongside other members of the Resilience Team to deliver excellent technical support and advice to our services that is both proportionate and relevant to community services.
The Resilience Team work in a changing, fast- paced and unpredictable environment and so we are looking for a dynamic team player who also feels comfortable to work on their own initiative. Previous experience in either training, project or Business Continuity specialist roles is an advantage.
This post is being offered on a flexible basis, including consideration of full time or part time hours.

Contribute to the delivery of Resilience objectives to ensure that compliance is maintained against the NHS England EPRR Core Standards and in line with requirements as set out in the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, and other applicable legislation.
Delivery against the Resilience teams annual work programme and other work streams of significance in a timely manner.
Ensure that appropriate support and technical advice is provided to all teams responding to an incident, event or other disruption, within the remit of the Resilience team.

The post holder will be required to work in collaboration with all team members, and will be asked to represent the EPRR Lead in their absence.
They should be able to engage with staff at all levels and encourage, promote and motivate staff, offering support when required.
Consequently, the post holder should possess excellent networking skills and feel comfortable to nurture good working relationships with system partners, CCS staff and other stakeholders.
All aspects of this post holders' job will require some degree of technical understanding, and they will be required to take a lead in various projects that progress the teams work programme.
The successful applicant will have excellent organisational and communication skills, will use their integrity and judgement at all times and carry out their role in a professional manner.
