The post holder will:


Establish and maintain a business support infrastructure necessary to assist the Health, Safety and Security Team and Fire Safety Team in meeting the Trusts objectives and targets.

This will include the support and development of systems and processes to help meet regulatory compliance.


Analyse reports and extract data from related reports/systems and feed this back to the Head of Health, Safety and Security in a format that can be used within Services/Teams for business planning purposes.

Review and escalate reported incidents and near misses and escalate to the appropriate team/individual.


Work with Corporate Services including Learning and Development to identify compliance with training and work with Services to improve recording, reporting and data quality.

Support with projects and initiatives for the Health, Safety and Security Team and Fire Safety Team.


Provide administrative support to the Head of Health, Safety and Security, Fire Safety Team and the Health, Safety and Security Team.

This will include the set up and management of meetings, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and managing arrangements for training, audits, visits and surveys as relevant to own area.

Administrate the Health and Safety Committee including agenda setting, paper collation and minute taking.
