Commercial Analyst
Location - Nelson
Salary - up to £40,000

Simpson Judge are working with a global professional services organisation, based in Nelson, who have an opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Accountant.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will carry out a variety of commercial analyses, including preparing monthly cost analysis reports, quarterly reforecasts and providing insight on key cost areas, alongside other areas.

This role also offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

Production of forecast presentations and conducting quarterly meetings with Directors
Production of monthly cost packs for budget holders
Assisting with monthly flash forecasts
Management of salaries & headcount file
Salary changes and pay rise reporting
KPI reporting
Analysis on core business fundamentals
Resolving variances between system reports (Insights, SQL)
Assisting in management accounts accrual processes including intercompany transfer pricing
Assessing and evaluating systems and processes and making recommendations for improvements and efficiencies

Requirements:

ACCA/CIMA Qualified (Part Qualified/Finalist also considered)
Experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment
Strong organisation, communication and presentational skills
Confident, tactful individual who is selfmotivated and approachable
Strong Excel skills
Knowledge on creating Macro's, SQL, power BI, SAP/SAC would be highly advantageous
Previous management accounting experience is desirable
