Syndicate Accountant

London & hybrid working

6 month contract

£600 - £750 per day
I am recruiting for a Syndicate Accountant to join a leading, global insurance company for a 6 month contract.

The role:

To take ownership and be the expert in:

  • Completion of Quarterly and yearly Lloyd's returns including but not limited to GQD, QMA, Canadian and US reporting, US and Canadian SIS returns.
  • Completion and assisting of Syndicate Statutory accounts and other entities within the Group.
  • Completing financial reporting deliveries including IFRS/FRS/ including Solvency II for assigned entities/deliverables ensuring that they are delivered on time and to desired quality level.
  • Completing audit files for companies as delegated on time, to desired quality and with appropriate supporting documentation fully referenced.
  • Knowledge on IFRS, UK GAAP and Solvency II
  • Significant insurance background
  • Qualified accountant
  • SAP experience desirable
