gap personnel Cardiff, are looking for a experienced Factory Cleaner in Caerphilly.

You will be joining a company who is a world class provider of contract manufacturing services.


Duties

  • Ensure the following tasks are complete in line with the methods and frequencies communicated via your line manager
  • Waste, recycling and shredding bins are emptied, with waste material being transported to the designated area.
  • All floors are cleaned on a daily basis using the appropriate methods. This may involve using appropriate machinery such as buffers or powered floor washers.
  • Ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments are dusted, damp wiped, washed or polished.
  • Internal window glass and internal and external door glass is cleaned as and when required.
  • Consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, paper towels are replenished if required.
  • Toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks are cleaned on a daily basis.
  • Ensure approved cleaning materials are used appropriately, as instructed by manufacturers and in line with COSHH regulations and economically. Chemicals should never be mixed.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and if not, any concerns are reported to your line manager.
  • Where practicable windows and doors should be closed and lights switched off.
  • Contribute to major cleaning tasks as and when required.
  • Ensure that adequate supplies of cleaning materials and equipment are available to enable you to complete your duties to the required level.
  • Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary.
