The Role / Position Overview


We are looking to engage specialist writers in the areas below to work with our copy editors to produce sparkling, accurate, engaging written content that not only meets our high standards but also exceeds client expectations in terms of substance, detail and presentation.

A deep knowledge of your field and experience in the commercial content space are essential, as well as a willingness to go the extra mile in terms of research and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to brief, carrying out research, devising and structuring synopses.
  • Delivering articles and other content on time, every time.
  • Organising and carrying out interviews with clients and third parties in a wellprepared, wellinformed and enthusiastic fashion.
  • Writing marketing copy according to brief.
  • Understanding house style and tone
  • Proactively communicating about availability or capacity challenges.
  • Writing engaging display copy and hub copy.
  • Working across formats, including VO scripts, immersive digital formats, and reports.
  • Attending calls and liaising effectively with copy dept, digital and production teams.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Solid, sustained writing experience in your field on a national title or authoritative commercial content agency.
  • Broad understanding of finance, business, tech and/or sustainability topics.
  • Understanding of social media platforms in a corporate context.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and high levels of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with people in geographically dispersed teams and time zones.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
