Reed Accountancy & Finance have partnered with a reputable and successful Global Logistics company in their search for an experienced Commercial Finance Manager.

As the business continues to grow exponentially and site-based finance grows ever-important, you will help to bridge the gap between ops and finance, supporting business leaders to optimise results and contributing to the success of the business.


Location:
Tilbury (entirely site-based)

Salary:
£40,000-£45,000 per annum

Hours: 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Your role will include:

  • Producing weekly and monthly reports to contain accurate management financial information.
  • Direct line management of a financial analyst.
  • Monthly accruals and prepayments.
  • Ensuring local reports and central accounts are regularly reconciled.
  • Building knowledge of cost and revenue drivers and their impact on financial results.
  • Working closely with the ops team to get an insight into the business to analyse performance and identify areas of improvement to drive profitability.
  • Working alongside the team to prepare budgets and forecasts and ongoing variance reporting.
  • Developing strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to promote financial understanding across the business.
