Salary:
£24, £28,938 per annum


Hours:
Full Time - 37 hours per week


Contract:
Fixed term contract until December 2023

Groundwork aims to be the UK's leading regeneration charity, working through partnership to create communities in which people are proud to live and work.


Northern Directions is a youth programme covering the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP) area, targeting deprived communities within Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside and Northumberland funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the North Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA).

This programme will support young NEET aged 16-24 to progress towards or into employment, training or education by providing a bespoke employability and personal development package designed around each young person's individual circumstances.


About the role

A bit about you
We are seeking someone with experience of support brokerage or information and advice work.

Proven experience of working with employers and referral agencies is essential as well as experience of marketing, communications, external liaison and presentation work.

You must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and cope with responsibility and high pressure.


You will have good communication skills, both written and verbal and proven experience of using a wide range of information technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
