Description

Metalis is currently working with a steel stockholder, who due to growth and expansion are looking to add a Steel Warehouse Operative to their busy shopfloor.

The Role is a temporary to permanent opportunity where permanent contracts will be offered after 12 weeks and a successful probationary period.


Role Outlined:


  • General Workshop duties
  • Operating Bandsaws,
  • Operating Laser, Plasma and Oxy gas cutting machines
  • Becoming trained on Side loaders, FLT's and Overhead cranes.
  • Licenses / training on FLT, Sideloaders and Overhead Crane after 12 weeks

Shifts & Salary
- £12.00 per hour for initial 12 weeks and a pay review with permanent contract offer
- £28 shift allowance per nights shift

  • Time and half for overtime, double time on a Sunday
  • Rotating 3

Shift System:
Days ( 6am-1:30pm), Afters (1pm to 9pm), Nights (9pm to 6am)

  • Friday Early finishes
