Senior Legacy Insurance Accounting Specialist
Due to continued expansion this leading Insurer is seeking to recruit an additional member to join their team.

Job Profile

  • Always maintain a strong focus on the resolution of issues for clients in the broadest terms. Ensure actions taken are meaningful to conclude issues or develop traction to do so.
  • Liaise effectively with the business client facing colleagues where necessary to ensure a coordinated approach is taken.
  • Ensure clear audit trail in relation to work undertaken, especially complex and/or historic matters.
  • Support wider business activities where required, including but not limited to quarter review of potential financial exposures, delivery of key performance targets or other significant business objectives.
  • Take management of the most complex client base, which includes unique lines of business, program structures and reinsurance reporting requirements. Duties to support client base include transactional processing, follow up and securing reinsurance recoveries,collateral, and timely and accurate system entry of all assigned client activity.
  • Knowledge of insurance concepts and principles, laws, and regulatory requirements (i.e,FCA) and general business trends.
  • Track record of successful client account management, relationship management, engagement, and development.
  • Successful management of workload; able to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholders.
  • Inquisitive mind and highly developed problemsolving skills
  • Data management and analytical skills.
  • Significant experience of Insurance accounting and settlement activities.
  • Demonstrable record of accomplishment of successful financial remediation or issue resolution including commercial or similar negotiation.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to offer and execute ideas and solutions to enhance processes within a changing environment
  • Consistently provide guidance by mentoring and/or training colleagues.
  • Consistently deliver superior client service.
