Our International business has the exciting job of bringing our famous clothing, food and home products to over 32 million customers worldwide.

Collaborating with our partner businesses, different countries and cultures, you'll work with colleagues around the world to help us reshape International as we know it.

About the Role

Our International Business exists to "Sell M&S to the world" and we have an exciting ambition to double the size of our business over the next 5 years, linked closely to the M&S Group strategy.

Our International business model is one of partnership - we operate in 106 global markets and with over 20 franchise JV and marketplace partners.

Historically most of our partner models do not involve International stock, the EUEDC and market place partnership does, and we now need different skill sets

Own the end to end merchandising processes, from planning to markdown
Working closely with Buyers to ensure we have the most profitable range that is customer driven from the insights we have
Adapt to the systems we have to create robust planning and trading tools including WSSIS, within an online trading environment
Executing stock targets at BU and T department level
Ensuring the smooth flow of stock to ensure we have the right stock in the right place at the right time
Seek out trading opportunities and sign off with Buying & Merchandising Lead
Challenge Buyers to ensure the most profitable customer focused range is maximised at all times
Support the Merchandising team to upskill and drive succession planning

About You

Strong Merchandising skills and experience ideally within a similar environment
Working in a traditional Buying and Merchandising Culture
Experience of working for Pure Player
