About us
M&J Group are a Roofing & Construction company, with over 50 years' experience in the roofing industry. The company is now one of the largest specialist construction companies in the UK. As a result of our rapid growth M&J are looking to recruit several people into administration roles.

This role is looking for an admin superhero who wants to join the
Estimating department at their head office in Bedford.


Responsibilities but not limited to:

You will be supporting the Estimating Coordinator with daily admin activities, both roles support the wider Estimating department.


Perform general administration tasks as and when required to meet the needs of the department, such as printing documents, answering incoming phone calls, and assisting in maintenance of the departments digital and paper filing systems.

Liaise with internal and external customers/contacts to ensure a smooth flow of information and work between the department, head office and other internal/external departments and contacts


There will be the need to chase clients to confirm the status on quotes/acquiring feedback on the jobs we do not secure.

Chasing subcontractors for the return of their quotes following our original enquiries.

Ordering of stationery and surveyors' equipment.


There will be liaison with other members of the estimating team, and on occasion assisting other departments with administration activities.


Experience:

If you have proven experience in working within a similar role, then this could be the job for you.

Can you demonstrate your keen eye for detail?

Strong GCSEs or equivalent preferred

Attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and clients

Proficient in using as Excel

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 8am 5pm

£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
