Right now is Manchester's time to shine. We are preparing to launch our first ever major fundraising and volunteering campaign in 2024.To make that happen, we are building an exceptional team of people to champion bold thinking that is rooted in impact.
We're looking for a bold, ambitious individual with a thirst to learn and the potential to excel by inspiring others to make a positive difference to society.
We want you to join our Student Support team for a unique opportunity to develop your career as a major gift fundraiser, securing gifts of £50,000 and above in support of the University's visionary new Access & Success Fund.
The Fund aims to raise £10million to support students from a wide range of backgrounds, at all stages of their educational journey:from the classroom to the workplace. Gifts to the fund will enable life-changing social mobility and revolutionise the higher education sector's approach to widening participation.
You will help to inspire prospective donors to support the Access & Success Fund, secure and attend meetings with potential supporters, craft compelling communications, and help to deliver a creative programme of engagement and events which build meaningful relationships and provide an exceptional donor experience.
You will help us to ensure that bright young people from a range of backgrounds don't just get in to Manchester - they get on.
