Roles & responsibilities

Planning, monitoring, and controlling transport requests.
Preparing transport quotations.
Coordinating the customs import & export aspect of the movement.
Liaising with clients & vendors, to arrange movements as required.
Monitor haulier performance, including ontime delivery, cargo handling and compliance with safety regulations.
Track and trace cargo as necessary and provide updates to the customer.
Maintain accurate records of shipments.
Preparation of sales invoices, efiling and other administrative tasks as required.
To provide support during supplier negotiations ensuring that we are obtaining value for money whilst retaining excellent customer service for the client and Peterson.
Assisting with the preparation of monthend financial close out.
Follow the principles of the integrated safety management within Petersons and its clients and to take personal responsibility for Health & Safety.
Comply with the company procedures.
Comply with Level 1 of HSE Employee Responsibility and Accountability.
Comply with Level 1 of Peterson Values & Behaviours.
