My client is a Reputable Not for Profit Organisation.
Description
- Processes all financial transactions and reconciles key control accounts
- Completes the bi
- Works closely with colleagues in other departments, particularly shops and fundraising, in order to record income and resolve any queries
- Investigates any queries from the Finance Manager or Finance Officer to support the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Provides advice to internal clients regarding income, supplier invoices, credit card expenses and petty cash
- Ensures that work is completed in line with agreed procedures, monthly deadlines and legal requirements
Profile
- HNC/HND Accounting, or SVQ Level 4/Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Technician Level, or equivalent experience
- Experience within a finance environment including having an understanding of accounting procedures e.g. reconciliation and balances, VAT payments and deductions, finance computer systems and ledgers, coding structures, etc.
- Experience of working with Sage Accounting is preferable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Numerical skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- High level of accuracy & organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to use own initiative
