Description

Our Food Production client based in Weston Super Mare is looking to strengthen their Production team and we are currently seeking a
Trainee Production Supervisor / Team Leader.


This is a good opportunity to take the step into more of a leadership function as you will supervise all contractors and other site operatives whilst on duty.


The Role in Brief:


  • Oversee kitchen/production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate kitchen/production staff, assigning tasks and schedules.
  • Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation.
  • Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality and cleanliness.

Familiarity with a similar role within a production setting.

Attention to Detail: High level of responsibility and attention to detail.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and motivate kitchen/production staff effectively.

Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with and adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations

Ideally, you will be currently working within a similar role or looking for a step up into a Supervisor / Team Leader role.

  • Fri 6 am 2 pm

Salary:
£11.50-£12.50 per hour
