This post will support the Nottinghamshire clinics based at NUH and will also provide virtual support to spoke sites such as Lincoln.
You will work alongside an experienced MDT and you will have close links with the 0.5 WTE Band 7 Physiotherapist that will be employed to support the Leicestershire patients.
There will be an expectation that the two posts will support each other and cross cover virtually when operationally necessary.
You will also be part of an established children's Physio team based in the Nottingham Children's Hospital at the QMC campus of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
You will be an expert clinical advisor within obesity and will provide assessment and advice/treatment to Children, Young people and their families who attend the East Midlands CEW Clinics.
You will work alongside the Leicestershire Physiotherapist to identify, develop and provide innovative new ways to address obesity among our young population.
As such, service evaluation will be a key element to allow the team to showcase the success of the service.
