Java Developer

Salary:
up to £85,000

Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office.

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in building a new platform from scratch.

Our company is a modern disruptor in the Car/Home insurance market, and we are looking to expand our workforce to support our growth.

This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, a flat structure and a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop clean and efficient code using Java and related frameworks.
Contribute to the full software development life cycle, from design stages to testing.
Practice Agile methodology, utilizing TDD with pair programming, and have a passion for code quality.
Mentor and work closely with junior developers to help the team grow as a unit.
Work towards developing out the microservices environment, always pushing the boundaries with new tech.

Tools you will be exposed to:

Java 11+
Kotlin
Microservices (Spring/Springboot)
AWS cloud
DevOps/TDD
