About the role:


This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Faculty of Engineering & Design's employability agenda for postgraduate students as part of the Postgraduate Employability Team.


As Postgraduate Employability Co-ordinator you will support and administer employability activities within the Faculty's MSc programmes - including summer consultancy projects, placements and other industry-related experiences.

Working with professional services and academic colleagues in the Faculty and across the University, you will support students by leading all aspects of the summer consultancy projects, provide administrative support to the placement process and support the team on a year round basis with marketing, social media and other ongoing activities.

This is a varied and exciting role that interfaces with students, internal colleagues and at times industry partners.

This is a full time, permanent position. The team is working a hybrid model with 60% of their time or more spent on campus. Flexibility to come to campus any working day will be needed to accommodate events and meetings.


About you:


To succeed in this role you will have outstanding organisational and administrative skills and the digital skills necessary to support social media and marketing activity.

You will have exceptional communication skills and be able to build relationships with local and international students, alumni and other staff across the University.

Acting as a key liaison point for stakeholders, you will establish and maintain effective communication channels and ensure that related administrative processes are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances.
