Finance Shared Service Assistant

Barrow-in-Furness, Flexible/Hybrid Working

The Role

The role is within the Shared Services team at James Fisher's head office in Barrow, assisting centralised credit control activity, AP ledger tasks and finance data tasks for a large part of the group.

The team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the Group meets its cash flow, processing and risk targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Cash collection, maximising receipts on all invoices due for payment.
Follow best practice processes.
Timely resolution of internal and external customer queries.
Using external platforms for credit risk tasks
Accounts payable processing.
Admin duties involved in the role.
