Temporary Roadworker - Highways

Pay rate:
£13.92 per hour PAYE


Hours per week: 35-37 Monday - Friday, normal working hours

This opening assignment is for 1-2 months

CSCS Card required


A Roadworker with experience in highways, Civil Engineering works and ad-hoc highways maintenance is required to undertake a range of highway tasks including excavation, labouring, laying and compacting stone, laying and compacting tarmac, laying concrete, drainage gullies and ducts, complex deep drainage.

To undertake traffic management associated with highway functions and use and interpret plans and drawings in relations to highways functions.

Must have full UK driving licence and relevant training to drive a dumper.

Qualifications:


  • CSCS Card required.
  • Full UK driving licence and relevant training to drive a dumper.

Experience:


  • Experience in Highways and Civil Engineering works.
  • Knowledge of construction related health and safety issues and safe digging practices in relation to underground services is required for this role.
  • Must be fit and healthy and able to work outside in all weathers and have previous labouring experience.
Full Driving licence, access to a vehicle or access to means of mobility support.
