The job itself:


During the pandemic, because of restrictions to service delivery we worked to create a digital day service which we called Our Place.

This was hosted within an existing corporate IT system.

The service was devised to provide those who could no longer access a building-based day service which gave the opportunity to engage in activities and meet digitally with friends.

Staff created content and design activities/events for service users to engage in.

The service has been a resounding success since its launch in March 2021 and has proved itself invaluable in bolstering the day service opportunities available during a time of Covid-19 restrictions.

Even after the reopening of Day Services, Our Place has gone from strength to strength.

Due to its success and high demand, we have decided to create a permanent team to develop this further and become an integral part of the Day Service offer going forwards.


We are looking to recruit two individuals who have the skills to liaise with a range of providers, professionals and service users to develop Our Place.

Are you a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who has the following:

  • Experience using computers with digital skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to problem solve and negotiate.
