Part of the HW Martin Group of companies, Lochrin Bain is an industry leading UK manufacturer of perimeter security fencing systems and gates.


Brief Duties:


Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a key member of the Manufacturing Team, responsible for manufacturing steel fencing and gate components.

You will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge within the role with a clear emphasis on safety; quality; and productivity.


  • Operation and setting of various machines including power presses, brakes presses, rolling mills and drilling machines.
  • Proven work experience of manual work as level of physical work will be required.
  • Ability to organize resources, materials and to control material usage to minimize waste.
  • Good knowledge and grasp of basic arithmetic.
  • Ability to understand basic technical drawings is essential.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills Required:

  • No formal qualifications required.

Previous experience in working with power presses and brake press machines or equivalent machinery is essential.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday and Friday


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £11.50 per hour
