Description
**MOC Maintenance Planner

  • Luton**
Full time Office Based Operational Role

easyJet has been decisive in meeting the challenges presented by the pandemic by cutting costs, reducing our capex while retaining our fleet flexibility and securing an additional £2bn in funding.

As a business we have stuck together, our culture, known as our orange spirit, is a real thing - it's people who love to work with fast paced, quick thinking and energetic people.

To fulfil the responsibilities of ensuring that easyJet's Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) is followed, the individual would need to be responsible for planning, controlling, and administering all scheduled maintenance.

This may involve working with maintenance teams to develop and implement maintenance plans, coordinating the availability of personnel and equipment, and tracking the progress of maintenance tasks to ensure that they are completed on time.

The individual would also be responsible for coordinating unscheduled maintenance that needs to be performed during light maintenance hangar inputs or on the line.

This may involve reacting to issues that are identified during maintenance checks or inspections, and working with the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) or Maintenance Operations Centre (MOC) to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out in a timely manner.

What you'll be doing

In terms of technical skills, the applicant should have a strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, including experience with AMOS (Aircraft Maintenance and Operations System) if possible.

They should also have a good understanding of Part CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization), EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), FOCA (Federal Office of Civil Aviation), and CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) regulations.

This includes being familiar with the requirements for maintaining aircraft airworthiness and the processes for obtaining and renewing airworthiness certificates.

An operational background in a line maintenance environment again would be ideal.

Line maintenance refers to the routine maintenance and repair of aircraft that is performed on a regular basis to ensure the aircraft's safety and continued airworthiness.

Experience in this area is beneficial because it provides practical, hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance procedures and processes.

Finally, it would be an advantage if the applicant holds a UK Part 66 Licence, or an equivalent qualification, on company aircraft.

This license is required to work on aircraft in the UK and demonstrates the applicant's competence and qualifications in aircraft maintenance.
