LARA Search is now looking for an experienced Learning Coach to join a special all-through School in Croydon and work with KS2-KS4 students with SEND, including Social Emotional, and Mental Health Needs, Communication and Interaction Needs, and Cognition and Learning Needs.

The successful applicant will join a team of dedicated professionals to provide personalised support to students with additional needs and will have the opportunity to develop their own skills and expertise through ongoing professional development and training.

If you're an experienced Learning Coach, Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant with a genuine passion for helping students with SEND reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Work with students to develop individualized learning plans based on their needs and abilities.
Provide oneonone and small group support to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with teaching staff to provide a cohesive and coordinated approach to supporting students with SEND.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with students or young adults with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (Desirable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills on top of good behaviour management skills.
Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
