Our client is looking for an Administrator in Glasgow city centre

Description
Daily assistance to the Claims Managers, including but not limited to:

  • Maintaining the commercial software up to date, with respect to all charter party revenues and expenses.
  • Production of all charter party debit notes, demurragedemurrage/despatchdespatch statements and hire statements and monitoring the receipt of all monies due.
  • To actively manage outstanding claims and diligently follow up the collection process. To provide statistics and reports as required to maximise the efficiency of the process.
  • To monitor and record charter expenses.
  • Processing of all payable invoices relating to the voyage for the accounts department to settle and liaising with them as necessary
  • Compiling and maintaining commercial reports as required.
  • Any other duties as required from time to time.

Profile
Previous experience and/or qualifications relating to basic accounting and/or credit control and/or administration

Ability to plan and organise own work
