Due to the complex nature of our students, high levels of emotional and physical resilience are needed in dealing with challenging behaviour.

However, the knowledge that our work is making a positive impact in helping the young people to grow and work towards independence brings great reward.

We are seeking to appoint a number of casual exam invigilators to join our team at Hollinwood Academy in preparation for the upcoming exam season.

The role involves supporting the Examinations Officer and the Senior Leadership Team in providing specific support to the school in the monitoring of internal and external examinations.

Duties include:

Supporting the Exams Officer in setting up the examination rooms.
Ensuring correct exam procedures are followed in line with JCQ regulations.
Distributing and collecting examination papers.
Monitoring students during the examination period

Full training will be offered and the post holders will be required to attend regular briefings by the Exams Officer.

Be reliable and punctual
Be flexible in their approach to work
Be friendly and approachable whilst remaining professional at all times
Have the ability to remain calm under pressure or when unexpected circumstances arise.

Although based initially at our Roman Road site, all staff are employed by the MAT and are expected to work at any site within the New Bridge Group

Salary:11.89 per hour
