Page Personnel is delighted to be supporting a highly reputable organisation based in Poole with their recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant to join their accountancy team on a 6 month temporary contract.

The role is based out of their Pooleoffice but offers a hybrid pattern of working.


Client Details


Our client is a highly reputable, large organisation based in the highly commutable area of Poole with free on site parking.

They have gone through a tremendous period of growth over the past few years and have plans to continue this over the next 3 yearstoo.

The role is reporting to the Financial Controller and works within a team of 6.


Description
As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the production of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • Production of budgets
  • Supporting with cashflow forecasting
  • Some variance analysis
  • Monthly reporting
  • Any other adhoc duties

Profile
In order to be considered for the Assistant Management Accountant, you must:

  • Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
  • Be immediately available or on short notice
  • Be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders of the business
  • Ideally worked with large ERP systems
  • High attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
  • Be a good team player
