BackDivisional Service Improvement Officer:
Project manager responsibilities include:
- Coordinate internal workshops and meetings
- Liaise with all of Planning and Building Control service areas, as well as ICT, Legal amongst others
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders
- Lead and/or assist in developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of projects
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Other responsibilities include:
- Assist managers in delivering initiatives, improvement projects and related tasks that contribute to the delivery of a cost effective, customer focused Planning and Building Control (and related) services.
- Seeking and promoting new ways of securing income for the Division, undertaking projects and initiatives that maintain and develop an integrated commercially focused Division.
- To be the principal point of contact for all procurement, contract management and business activity relating to the use of specialist external consultants in the Division.
