Divisional Service Improvement Officer:

Project manager responsibilities include:

Coordinate internal workshops and meetings
Liaise with all of Planning and Building Control service areas, as well as ICT, Legal amongst others
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders
Lead and/or assist in developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of projects
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Use and continually develop leadership skills
Perform other related duties as assigned

Other responsibilities include:

Assist managers in delivering initiatives, improvement projects and related tasks that contribute to the delivery of a cost effective, customer focused Planning and Building Control (and related) services.
Seeking and promoting new ways of securing income for the Division, undertaking projects and initiatives that maintain and develop an integrated commercially focused Division.
To be the principal point of contact for all procurement, contract management and business activity relating to the use of specialist external consultants in the Division.

- _ Bid writing and business analyst skills will be an advantage._
