Divisional Service Improvement Officer:


Project manager responsibilities include:


  • Coordinate internal workshops and meetings
  • Liaise with all of Planning and Building Control service areas, as well as ICT, Legal amongst others
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Lead and/or assist in developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of projects
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Other responsibilities include:


  • Assist managers in delivering initiatives, improvement projects and related tasks that contribute to the delivery of a cost effective, customer focused Planning and Building Control (and related) services.
  • Seeking and promoting new ways of securing income for the Division, undertaking projects and initiatives that maintain and develop an integrated commercially focused Division.
  • To be the principal point of contact for all procurement, contract management and business activity relating to the use of specialist external consultants in the Division.
- _ Bid writing and business analyst skills will be an advantage._
