Job Role:
Relief Call Handler


Salary:
£24,862

Contracted Hours: 37.5 per week


Hours of work:

This vacancy will have no set shifts, and applicants would be required to make themselves available to cover absences within a 24/7 call team as and when required.


Role of a Call Handler:

  • Handling a high volume of inbound/outbound phone calls
  • Answering calls from the police, youth offending teams and other contracts and document their requirements
  • Entering all essential information into our systems in an accurate and timely manner
  • On receipt of the call, find available workers to dispatch to the call out
  • Always ensure the highest standard of customer service at all times

Applicant Requirements:

  • Successful applicants demonstrate high levels of personal commitment to facilitate the delivery of a demanding service.
  • We need individuals who have the drive and passion to make a difference to peoples' lives, but also the personal resilience to work in a highpressured environment.
  • Good overall IT skills, especially using Outlook, Excel and Web Applications.
  • You will need to be able to work well within a team and independently, have fast/accurate typing skills and have a good standard of education or equivalent experience.
  • This role is suited to people who remain calm under pressure, are good at problemsolving, and have excellent interpersonal skills, with an empathetic nature.
