The Role

Associate - Private client.

Location:
North Berwick, East Lothian

We are currently recruiting for an Associate/Senior Solicitor to help grow our established private client team, which operates across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and North Berwick.

Our Private Client Team provides advice on all aspects of private client matters along with related tax issues.

This is a new post and offers an excellent opportunity to be involved our specialist team, but also to gain experience of working in a small office, outwith the city.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Wills;
Executry administration including advising on tax paying estates;
Tax Planning, including advice on available reliefs;
Asset protection including the creation of Trusts;
Trust management; and
AWI issues such as Powers of Attorney and Guardianships.
Be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Have enthusiasm to help grow and develop the private client department.
Be STEP qualified or interested in working towards this or other relevant professional qualifications.
