UE07 £36,333 - £43,155 Per Annum, Pro Rata

Fixed term for 12 months
**Part-time, 21 hours per week

The Opportunity

The Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA) wishes to appoint a 0.6 FTE Teaching Fellow in Architectural Theory for the period of 12 months.

The post-holder will have a focus on and responsibility for organising and teaching courses in architectural theory in the professionally accredited programmes in architecture.

Skills and Attributes for Success

A degree in architecture, architectural theory, or related discipline, with a strong background in architectural and environmental studies
Possess excellent communication skills evidenced through publications and/or scholarship
Experience of universitylevel teaching in a related field
A contextualised knowledge of architectural education.
Ability to set out, communicate and critically review complex issues pertaining to architectural theory
Ability to use digital platforms for teaching
Experience of working around themes and discourses that will further the diversity of our community
Demonstrable commitment to diversity, equality of opportunity and inclusion.
