**Part-time, 21 hours per week
The Opportunity
The Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA) wishes to appoint a 0.6 FTE Teaching Fellow in Architectural Theory for the period of 12 months.
The post-holder will have a focus on and responsibility for organising and teaching courses in architectural theory in the professionally accredited programmes in architecture.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- A degree in architecture, architectural theory, or related discipline, with a strong background in architectural and environmental studies
- Possess excellent communication skills evidenced through publications and/or scholarship
- Experience of universitylevel teaching in a related field
- A contextualised knowledge of architectural education.
- Ability to set out, communicate and critically review complex issues pertaining to architectural theory
- Ability to use digital platforms for teaching
- Experience of working around themes and discourses that will further the diversity of our community
- Demonstrable commitment to diversity, equality of opportunity and inclusion.
