We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Customer Care Agent at one of the UK's busiest airports - London Gatwick Airport.


Join us as a Customer Care Agent where you will be able to explore a world full of opportunities working here at the Airport.

You will be meeting people from all over the world, where you will be part of the most vital part of these passengers' journeys, by making sure they get to their destination safely.


Working as a member of the Gatwick Team, you will be responsible for the transfer of PRM or those needing assistance from the aircraft to the terminal building or from the terminal building to the aircraft.

The Role
Exciting and rewarding, a typical day in the life as a Customer Care Agent:

  • Assist special assistance passengers through the terminal to and from the aircraft door and assist with the transfer into their seat or wheelchair through safe manual handling techniques.
  • Escorting arriving and departing special assistance passengers through the airport either on foot, by wheelchair or electric buggy.
  • Providing assistance to any PRM passenger with their baggage.
  • Ensure that Operations Control is updated on progress by use of PDA. Milestones must be updated accurately at each point of the journey.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed legibly and submitted in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?


We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and keeping those around you both safe and secure.


  • Previous Airline &/or Airport experience is desired although not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills with an empathic nature.
  • Must be able to lift passengers in confined spaces, lift luggage in accordance with manual handling guidelines.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Basic IT Skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.

Essential:

  • Full UK Driving licence is essential.

Desirable:

  • Able to speak another language.
