Goodman Masson have partnered with a London based Asset Manager, who are looking for a Senior Group Accountant - Manager to join their dynamic Finance team on an initial 6-12 months contract.

You will be part of the group reporting team and be responsible for providing strategic ideas, insights and delivery of financial reporting, and analysis.

Primary Responsibilities
This position is responsible for several critical functions, in additional to supporting the Financial Reporting team with ad hoc tasks:

Review and develop efficiencies in month end close processes
Assist with the Group consolidation, including cash flow statement and note disclosures
Management of outsourced providers of financial information for inclusion into the consolidated financial statements
Preparation and assistance with the audit of the year end and interim Group financial statements and related shareholder materials
Preparation UK and overseas subsidiary financial statements
Preparation of finance regulatory returns
Management reporting
Contribution to the finance transformation programme

Skills & Experience

Qualified Accountant (ACA,/CIMA/ACCA)
PQE in either/and: Financial Reporting, IFRS financial statement preparation, Financial Regulatory Reporting
Experience in organisations: Preferably Asset Managers, PE & Venture Capital. Financial Services, Tier I Consulting/Professional Services firms
