Job Description:


We are recruiting Care Professionals in the Darlington and Northallerton area

  • You must have a big smile that will make each client's face light up when they welcome you at the door.
  • As each day is varied, you'll need to think on your feet, you could be doing light housework, helping to prepare meals or helping with personal care.
  • We need reliable, caring people who are available when our clients need our support the most. this could be morning, noon or night.
  • A good pair of eyes and ears are essential. Ears to listen to a lifetime's worth of stories, and eyes to help them find their things if they've been misplaced
  • You'll need to bring oodles of patience, and a sense of humour.
  • We're a social bunch at Home Instead who love getting together for regular training and we'll always be there to support you no matter what.
  • Ideally you should be a driver with regular access to a vehicle as some of our clients live in outlying villages.
  • All visits are a minimum of 1 hour, you will be introduced to a client who has similar interests as you, so you will already have things in common.
  • No uniforms, just a lanyard and bag for your PPE and paperwork.

Qualifications:

We welcome Care Professionals who share in our values, whether you have previous care experience or not. You will be provided with all the training you will need to be a confident and skilled Care Professional. You will be introduced to your client and shadow an experienced Care Professional until your confident in your role.
