**The Role - Learning Mentor
**For this role, I am actively recruiting for an experienced and well-mannered Learning Mentor to support Post 16 students in a ASD school. The role will require you to work closely with students who have been diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum and havechallenging behaviour. You will need to build a rapport with the students and encourage them to be independent and proactive with their learning. You may also be required to deescalate challenging situations. Due to the needs of the students, the ideal LearningMentor will need to have experience working with children or young people who have ASD, Complex Needs and challenging behaviour. This role requires a full-time commitment on a long-term basis.
**ASD School - Learning Mentor
**This thriving ASD school is located in Uxbridge, Hillingdon and caters for students aged between 4-19 years old with Special Educational Needs such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The school is very small and has around 210 students therefore, classsizes vary from 8-10 pupils along with 2 teaching assistants in class. This school has good transport links and on-site parking available.
