Yard Operative
Reading
Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
40 Hours/week
Up to £13.50 per hour
Our Client is looking for a hardworking yard operative. Who would work in the yard to process orders to spot the damage/broken items before it goes out. Basic experience in plumbing and electrical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning
- Fixing broken blinds and door locks
- Replacing broken light switches and sockets
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Installing or removing partition, sinks and Counters
- Painting
- Basic DIY skills
- Spot damage/broken items and carry out simple repairs
- Excellent Management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with modern warehousing Practices and methods
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- FLT prefferred
