About the Role

  • We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our team on an initial 9 month FTC. This role offers a huge amount of variation for the right person.
  • Upon joining our stateoftheart production facility in Ampthill, you will be providing administrative support to the Production Operations teams which inc Manufacturing, Facilities and Health & Safety teams.
  • In addition to strong communication skills, you will ideally also be able to demonstrate experience with Excel, MS PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint to a standard where you are able to share, collate data and run reports.
  • Day to day responsibilities include, as a summary of the typical tasks but are not an exhaustive list as other tasks, as assigned by the management team may form part of the role:
  • Generating weekly cost reports, providing analysis and performance Metrics via SAP.
  • Coordination of revised or new internal processes, in line with review timeframes
  • Generation and management of purchase requisitions/orders and invoices for approval
  • Assisting with new starter integration, including delivery of Inductions (Manufacturing) and maintenance of Organisation charts
  • Management of Workwear and PPE requests
  • Management of Visitors to Manufacturing, ensuring security controls are met.
  • Booking in Visitors and contractors on the SkyVisitor system.
  • Coordinate training for Production Operations working with Human Resources to ensure requirements are met.
  • Act as Point of contact for the expenses system.
  • Controlling assigned Office Floor plate, desk allocation and security procedures.
  • Maintain the Production Operations SharePoint site.
  • Coordinate any Operations Communications.
  • Ordering of stationary.
  • Support to management providing data and information as required.
  • Assisting the Production Operations Managers with any daily tasks as requested.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience within a similar administration focused role.
  • Demonstrate excellent communications skills both written and verbal across all levels within the organisation.
  • IT skills with a knowledge of SAP, SharePoint and MS office packages particularly MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Have an ability to work at pace within cross functional teams being selfmotivated with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
