Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to work as a member of our nursing team within the Specialised Stroke Unit based in Perth Royal Infirmary.

Our unit has 22 beds providing acute stroke care and stroke rehabilitation for the population of Perth and Kinross.

We promote a multidisciplinary approach to person centred care by supporting personal and therapeutic goal setting to enable patients to meet their optimum level of dependence on discharge.

You will deliver quality and individualised care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
