Role:
Agile Coach (Customer Facing Domain)

Contract Length:
Until March 2024 with possible extension.

Location:
Hybrid/Edinburgh or Glasgow - Onsite collaboration when required depending on project/team requirements

IR35:
Outside

Pay Rate to Intermediary:
£550 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for an Agile Coach for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AGILE COACH

  • Support the domain leadership team in managing the road map in accordance with the organisation's priorities
  • Support teams in ensuring continuous improvement
  • Visualise teams' work
  • Concentrate on flow, limiting WIP and delivering value
  • Monitor cycle times using quantitative tools such as Actionable Agile
  • Build and maintain an open, trustbased environment
  • Work closely with product managers, business analysts and other specialists in the teams, coaching them in agile working
  • Foster strong, cohesive team dynamics and relationships, based on the principles of team autonomy, mastery and purpose
  • Promote crossteam collaboration
  • Contribute to a learning culture in the Agile Community of Practice and the wider organisation
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation
  • Work effectively with other suppliers, departments and agencies where appropriate
  • Support digital service delivery, using the Digital Scotland Service Standard where required

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE AGILE COACH
Agile experience

  • Deep understanding of different agile concepts and techniques
  • Evidence of embedding agile practices in teams
  • Ability to use the most relevant practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of agile product (software) development
  • Experience of working with product teams which are experienced at working in an agile environment
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement even in highperforming teamsDigital and service experience
  • An excellent understanding of good digital service delivery design
  • Experience of working with teams building browserbased digital services
  • Experience of different industries (some publicsector experience is desirable but not essential)Cultural fit
  • Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating and sharing knowledge and decision making
  • Being framework agnostic, using the right practices for the context
