Job Purpose
The role of Assistant Systems Accountant is really important to us.

You will be supporting Telematics Finance team to deliver process improvements, automation initiatives and projects varying in size and scale.

We would love to welcome you to our Campus HQ office, working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.


Your responsibilities day to day will be

  • Capturing business requirements and mapping out existing and tobe business processes.
  • Supporting migration initiative and ensuring the thorough reconciliations are performed.
  • Proactively review existing processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Working with wider project teams to ensure new products are successfully implemented including user acceptance testing.
  • Support projects through each stage of the project management lifer cycle.
  • Developing a detailed understanding of our finance systems, focusing on the configuration and data structures.
  • Perform complex interrogation, investigation and reconciliation on data from different sources.
  • Regular contact with key stakeholders to understand future initiatives and to assist with queries.
  • Develop and implement strong controls and processes to provide a strong base for the continued rapid growth of the business.
  • Responsibility for completing current manual processes while continually working to incorporate these into our automation plans and processes.

What do we expect of you?

  • Ability to prioritise and keep to deadlines within a fastpaced environment.
  • Previous experience of advance use of Excel and Microsoft Access desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Good eye for detail and ability to spot anomalies.
  • Enjoyment of problem solving.
  • Displaying initiative and not only take full responsibility for their duties but also enthusiastic to take on new challenges which will develop their own career.
