Company Overview/Objective:

Due to current workload R&R Groundwork Services Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced reinstatement team to provide support to key clients in the North East region, general job details include:

Start Date: 19/06/2023 onwards

  • Rates (Subcontract/Self Employed/CIS): £280£320 per day, 2 man gang split (dependant on experience/tickets)
  • Duration: Permanent
Working Hours: 45 hours (6.00am-3.30pm)

  • Weekly paperwork bonuses
  • Annual bonuses
  • Overtime available
  • Weekend working available
  • Small Plant/Small Tools/Vehicles/Fuel Cards provided

Key Accountabilities:

Carry out general reinstatement works involving all bituminous type materials (small works), as directed by the Reinstatement Manager, including but not limited to:

  • Reinstatement of public roads
  • Reinstatement of footpaths/footways/driveways
  • Replacement of manhole covers (footpaths/roads) alongside relative reinstatement
  • Reinstatement of toby covers
  • Concreting foundations/general concreting
  • Laying kerbs
  • Flags and block paving
  • Compiling site documentation using electronic tablet
  • Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and on time
  • Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Liaison with customers

Experience and Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years tarmac reinstatement experience preferred
  • A valid UK driving licence essential
  • Class 1 & Class 2 licence essential
  • In date CSCS card preferred
  • Street works (NRASWA) qualifications essential
  • Manual Handling preferred
  • SSSTS preferred
  • EUSR Water Hygiene preferred
