The Person
Authentic, credible and yourself peppered with some amazing experience,

  • Previous retail customer service experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis/focus on providing an excellent customer experience preferably in a design led environment
  • Demonstrable experience/interest in interior design/têxtiles, home trends and styles would be advantageous
  • Demonstrable supervisory experience
  • Previous mentoring/coaching experience
  • A track record of delivering strong commercial results individually
  • Experience of working to sales targets and KPI's
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS package

The Position
You must be able to cover the following areas daily.


Oxford Street, Tottenham Court Road, Brent Cross, Peter Jones, Kingston, Stratford, White City Westfield.

  • Travelling to wherever you are needed within a given geography across Inner and Outer London
  • Welcoming customers into our space and taking them through the endtoend journey from enquiry to order, booking inhome appointments and arranging fitting.
  • Using the knowledge and expertise we'll coach you on to support our customers in choosing the best products for their needs.
  • Able to support a wide variety of needs from the customer in any home décor projects they are completing.
  • Being a Mobile Team Leader, able to support, manager and resolve most enquiries, regardless of your location that day, to provide a customer first experience.
  • Shifts will usually be between 9am8pm, any 5 days over a 7 day week.
  • Basic travel will be claimable in arrears via the Web Expense Process for commuting to and from sites.


As a Mobile Team Leader, you will lead, engage, inspire and develop a highly skilled and knowledgeable team to deliver strong commercial results through the creation of a high motivated, engaged and empowered team who deliver an exceptional end to end customer experience.


Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the instore team creating an environment where colleagues are inspired to deliver a great customer experience and a supportive and empowering colleague experience.
  • Be devoted to exceeding customer expectations from a customer service and hospitality perspective, whether in store, online or via other communication channels.
  • Set the bar for the team and play your part personally in ensuring the store and colleagues are impeccably presented.
  • To assist the Cluster Manager to plan and deploy the store's resources effectively ensuring coverage to consistently deliver a great service experience.
  • In conjunction with the Cluster Manager lead, develop and engage the store team to deliver successful commercial results.
  • Support the Cluster Manager in managing the performance of the team helping to address underperformance quickly and effectively in line with the agreed processes for conduct or capability.
  • To engender a team, people, and customer centric culture where colleagues are inspired, highly engaged, feel involved and retention is high.
  • Play and active part in the development and success of the business by soliciting and giving regular feedback, participating in colleague forums and the adoption of a solutions based, actionoriented approach.
  • Understand and leverage the commercial levers of the business, maximising sales, and profitability.
