About The Role:


Job Title:
Pharmacy Dispenser


Hours:
Part Time - 30 hours Tuesday - Friday


As a Pharmacy Dispenser here at LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare, your main responsibility will be to accurately dispense items and controlled drugs under the supervision of a Pharmacist, checking that all legal requirements are met on prescriptions.

You'll join a fast paced, energetic team where collaboration is key.

You will play a crucial role in our mission to provide high-quality medication to our patients.

Your primary responsibility will be to dispense medication following good dispensing practices and relevant guidelines from the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that patients receive the correct medication in a timely manner, safeguarding their treatment and well-being.


Please note:
this is a non-patient facing role, working Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm (no weekends)


Key Responsibilities:


  • Dispense medication accurately in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards
  • Complete documentation as required by company procedures and regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in relevant systems and procedures to facilitate efficient dispensing processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service with a professional and courteous telephone manner, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

About You:


  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with relevant systems and procedures.
  • Excellent telephone manner with strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
