Role:
Data Engineer

Location:
Remote / Central London

Rate:
£300 to £500 per day

Determination:
Inside IR35

Duration: 6 Months (initially)


My client, an exciting leading organisation based in central London, are currently looking for an Data Engineer to join their team.

They are looking for someone who can provide technical support, loading data, querying databases, creating data pipelinesand who has good understanding of SQL.


The Data Engineer role will offer the opportunity to work with a range of technologies such as Power BI and the wider Power Platform, Alteryx and other cloud technologies.


Key Responsibilities for theData Engineer:


  • Handling data change requests
  • Loading of new data
  • Mapping data sources to schema
  • Work through ETL process
  • Support data incites running queries or updating views
  • Consulting the wider business units on data process management and data usage
  • Involved in Gathering requirements for data changes, releases, and reports

Essential skills for the Data Engineer:

  • Hands on experience working with relational databases
  • Experience querying SQL databases
  • Experience modifying Schema
  • Loading data in bulk updates
  • Experience with ETL pipelines and tools
  • Good understanding of data principals
  • Desirable skills for the Data Engineer:
  • Experience with Alteryx
  • Experience with Power BI / Power Platform
