Description

As an
Accountant, you will:


  • To manage the cash book & Petty cash book
  • Process expenses
  • Weekly and monthly salaries using SAGE 50 payroll, P11D and year end process.
  • To produce a monthly management accounts report to be distributed to managing director and Director
  • To assist in budgeting as required
  • Bank statement reconciliation
  • Pension payments & reconciliation
  • Posting receipts in sales ledger
  • Purchase ledger payments for UK and international suppliers
  • Keep fixed asset module updated
  • End of year stock take
  • Reconcile control accounts
  • Reconcile debtors with sales finance ledger
  • Complete VAT returns including postponed import VAT
  • Matching customs declarations with international invoices and reconciling CDS statements
  • Prepare annual account for auditor and close year end
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
  • To deal with general and specific financial enquiries
  • Intrastate & EU sales
  • To check purchase invoices against PO and record invoices onto sage 200

Profile

The perfect
Accountant will:


  • Have minimum 2 years experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper who has been responsible for payroll and month end
  • Be confident and personable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
