Job Role

  • Deliver a best practice approach for attraction and selection in a balanced, diverse and transparent way
  • Building MIBs employer brand via social media, enabling MIB to be an employer of choice
Key Outputs

  • Accountable for the end to end recruitment process up to and including senior levels
  • Drive best practice and be responsible for the provision of expert and consistent proactive advice, guidance and coaching to the business in relation to recruitment activity
  • Partnering with the agency PSL to ensure they're an extension of MIBs brand by presenting dynamic equity, diversity and inclusion agendas to ensure it's represented at all levels of the recruitment process
  • Be a proactive ambassador of the MIB brand when liaising with external stakeholders to bring the MIB story to life, including the generation of compelling content and social media
  • Creating and managing the Licence to recruit model where hiring managers are assessed and ranked based on their recruitment knowledge and experience in line with the Recruitment Strategy
  • Challenge the norm and suggest new and improved ways of working to align MIB to the wider external market
  • Monitor and use data and analytics to look for efficiencies and cost savings

Qualifications and Education

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in an inhouse recruitment role
  • Creative recruitment social media skills
  • Experience in writing job adverts and posting to job boards
  • An understanding of Employment Law in relation to recruitment
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Able to deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
  • Comfortable challenging and influencing all levels of stakeholders
  • Confident at delivering training via workshops and masterclasses
  • Have an eye for process improvement, challenging the norm and suggesting new ways of working
  • High level of initiative
  • Be organised, able to manage workloads and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels
Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
35 hours per week Monday to Friday
£320 (before tax) start up allowance
